Nos procesos industriais é necesario conseguir que unha serie de variables físicas como, a
temperatura, o caudal, a presión, a viscosidade, etc. permanezan nuns determinados valores, ou cambien dunha forma predeterminada. Para conseguir este comportamento é necesario incluír no sistema un elemento controlador.
Nesta materia, estúdanse os fundamentos matemáticos que permiten axustar o funcionamento dos sistemas de control para unha ampla variedade de sistemas a controlar.
E importante ter unha base suficiente de matemáticas e física antes de abordar o estudo desta materia.

All methodologies are maintained except for laboratory practices in the event that they cannot be carried out virtually.
The rest of the methodologies are maintained, making use of Moodle and TEAMS.
3. Mechanisms for personalized attention to students
At the teacher's initiative, during TEAMS sessions, at least once a week. At the initiative of the student body by email, Moodle messaging, or TEAMS, at any time during the working day in which the teacher is not carrying out other scheduled tasks.
4. Modifications in the evaluation
The evaluation is maintained in the same way, and in case the laboratory practices cannot be carried out virtually, its value will be reassigned to problem solving.
