This subject introduces and describes a series of statistical concepts focused on data science. Specifically, it will start with an introduction to sampling techniques and survey design, going through statistical inference as well as the main techniques of multivariate analysis. Additionally, different computational tools related to R statistical software for report generation will be introduced. A mainly applied approach will be used, trying to present all concepts within the context of information and library sciense.
