The objective of this subject is to introduce the student to the fundamentals of differential calculus of several variables, mathematical programming and differential equations, which will be necessary for learning the rest of the subjects of the degree and for their professional future. The student must understand the basic concepts presented and the results that relate them, and correctly and rigorously apply this knowledge for the practical resolution of problems. A special emphasis will be placed on the application of the course contents to problems of an economic nature and on the interpretation of the results obtained.
