General description The statistical quality control is the branch of statistics connected with the industry and companies that includes all the technics and statistical methodologies developed for the maintenance and improvement of the quality of the processes that involve products and services. Between the most used technics, there are the control charts, the analysis of the capability of processes, all those tools related with the design of experiments and the models of reliability.
Contingency plan 1. Modifications in the contents: The contents will not be modified. 2. Methodologies: Teaching methodologies that will be maintained: The teaching methodologies exposed in this guide will be used independently of the degree of presentiality under which the subject is taught, understanding as presential classes those carried out from the videoconference classroom. Teaching methodologies that are modified: No teaching methodology is modified. 3. Mechanisms of personalized attention to students: Tools: Microsoft Teams and e-mail. Timing: Microsoft Teams will be used during class hours, in addition to tutoring hours. The electronic mail will be used to solve doubts and for the exchange of files and information in general. 4. Modifications in the evaluation: Likewise, the evaluation procedure of SPC will not need any kind of modification either, since the alternative is already provided for it to be carried out in its entirety from the delivery of work by the students. Evaluation Observations: The delivery of two practical works related to the application of tools with Statistical Quality Control to real or simulated data by means of the statistical software R will be requested (the evaluation of these works will correspond to 60% of the global grade), following the methodologies taught in the practical classes through ICT. The other 40% of the overall grade will correspond to the final exam of the subject (to be carried out by telematicaly in synchronous mode), a multiple-choice test of between 15 and 20 questions. Alternatively to the exam, the student will be able to be evaluated of the other 40% of the global qualification by means of the delivery of a final work that can be (1) of revision and extension of the diverse topics imparted in the subject, or (2) of programming in R of some methodology of the Statistical Quality Control, or (3) of the practical application of the knowledge imparted to a real or simulated case of study, or even (4) a work of analysis of bibliography (articles of reference related to the subject) or software linked to this field of the statistics. Second opportunity: The same evaluation procedure will be applied as in the first opportunity. 5. Modifications of the bibliography or webgraphy:
