Esta materia introduce ao alumnado na investigación en turismo tanto desde un punto de vista teórico como desde un punto de vista práctico. Reflexiónase ademais sobre a metodoloxía científica en xeral e sobre a investigación social en particular, explicando especificamente as diferentes técnicas de investigación social. Igualmente desenvólvese ao longo do curso cada unha das etapas dun proxecto de investigación social concreto.
