Introducirase ó alumno nos protocolos tradicionais e emerxentes que ofrece a rede Internet para a transmisión de audio e vídeo en rede. Profundizarase nos principios que se empregan en este tipo de solucións. Darase un repaso dos diferentes modelos de distribución (transmisión de audio/vídeo almacenado baixo demanda, streaming de audio/vídeo en tempo real, aplicacións de audio/vídeo interactivo en tempo real) referenciando a exemplos reais na rede.
