Por un lado, se trata de que los alumnos conozcan las técnicas y procedimientos estadísticos especialmente adecuados para resolver problemas reales que se plantean en el ámbito de la economía y la empresa. En segundo lugar, que comprendan las propiedades estadísticas de estas técnicas y procedimientos para saber cuándo y cómo pueden aplicarlos.
