Se pretende que el alumno adquiera competencia ...Se pretende que el alumno adquiera una visión de conjunto de cómo es una instalación electrica naval típica de un buque mercante; generación , distribución y receptores, y las particularidades que acompañan a los de propulsión eléctrica. Asimismo se trata de que el alumno conozca las labores de mantenimiento y las prácticas de seguridad a observar durante los trabajos en los sistemas eléctricos de a bordo.
