General description This subject is aimed at presenting some basic concepts about the physics and chemistry of natural waters as well as some key ideas about water quality. Elemental water chemistry concepts are combined with other practical topics like natural water sampling, data analysis and graphical representation. More advanced contents include the description of processes governing the variability of the chemical composition of natural waters in its different reservoirs (precipitation, continental lotic and lentic systems, ground water, sea water).
Contingency plan 1. Modifications to the contents There are no changes in contents or its scope 2. Methodologies The preffered class method will be based on student attendance to classes. In case mobility becomes limited, classes will proceed with the support of online methodologies (e.g. Teams) *Teaching methodologies that are maintained All the teaching methodologies are maintained. *Teaching methodologies that are modified In case of limitations in mobility, lab practices will become desk practices. Field trips will transform into guided audiovisulas (tematic documentaries) supported by explanations and common discussions. 3. Mechanisms for personalized attention to students Personalized attention will be maintained as usual but taking advantage of telematic tools (e.g. Teams) in case mobility becomes limited 4. Modifications in the evaluation The assessment of the subjet will be performed in the same basis as non-contingent situation (including weighting). In the caso of short answer tests, they will be performed with the aid of telematic tools (e.g. Moodle) 5. Modifications to the bibliography or webgraphy No modifications apply
