| Document analysis | Introduction to the documentary sources and to the tools of bibliographic research in history |
| Field trip | There will be two visits to singular works of engineering |
| Case study | They will study important works of engineering and the influence and effect that they had in the historical context and in the geographic and social development. |
| Supervised projects | Each student will prepare two works: - short Work: a presentation of 10' on a free subject (agreed with the professors) - long Work: a report of until 20 pax. and a presentation of 15'. In this second work will do emphasis in the writing skills and in the expositive quality. |
| Laboratory practice | They will do practices in laboratory exploring the historical constructive technicians: - Construction of an arch of a stone - Design of structures funiculars |
