Methodologies Description
Introductory activities Subject presentation: program thematic blocs explanation, course mechanics and evaluation methods.
Introductory lectura: Architecture and Construction. From constructive clases to the architectonic model.
Guest lecture / keynote speech Theorical clases: In them, the explanation will be developed by the teachers of the part of the topics included in the subject program.
Student portfolio Student’s lecture notes from expositives clases will be evaluated; extensión contents complements of students contributions will be valued.
Document analysis Personal study of matters included in the subject program, starting from teachers proposed bibliography, with doubts explanations or extensions during clases or tutorships. Materias will be evaluated by assistence controls and in the final objective test.
Collaborative learning Team practices: they will consist of the summary, accused, assimilation and comparison of information about a constructive system related to the program of the subject, that will be assigned by the professorship to each team. The information will be caught from all the possible sources: bibliography and papers, technical documentation edited by manufacturers, distributors or suppliers of products or constructive systems - manuals, guides, leaflets, prices lists, web pages, etc.. Also, as possible, samples of products must be gathered, models or fragments of constructive solutions, and in general, any type of relevant information about the assigned topic.

The compiled information will be integrated into the DOCUMENTATION CENTER OF CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEMS organized by the subject, that will be at the disposal of the pupils in the schedule that will be announced.
Oral presentation Exhibition of the works in group realized, with colective participation and one by one team members. Presentation with support of audio-visual media -powerpoint, videos, etc.-. Debate in group provoked by the teachers concerning with questions related with the content of the considered constructive system, in the aim of check the knowledge acquired by the members of the group about the recommended topic, as well as to provoke or to raise proper questions about the constructive system, of general interest for the subject students group.
Case study Individual practice: it will consist in follow-up the execution of a constructive system in a real site work, realizing a written and photographic descriptive report of the sequence of the execution, including a critical analysis of the execution of the work that must include the opinion about the fulfillment of the applicable regulation.
Speaking test The individual follow-up works will be exposed in public; the capacity of synthesis and the critical analysis about the execution of the analyzed constructive system will be valued.

The examinations will include the totality of the program of the subject developed during the course by means of the theorical classes, the analysis of documentary sources or the making of practical individual or in team works.

Objective test The subject examinations will consist of two parts: a test of short questions and a another part of development questions that will consist fundamentally about the graphical description of a constructive system - vertical and horizontal constructive sections-, in the description or classification of constructive types or in the explanation about the procedures for an constructive system execution.
