The principal lines of enquiry include: • Approaches to egalitarian representation and participation in Early Childhood Education • Prejudices, stereotypes, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, ableism, and other kinds of discrimination and exclusion in the schooling institution • Models of multicultural and intercultural education • The social model of disability • Concepts of inclusion and integration, including a critical analysis of official and public discourses surrounding these processes • Attention to cultural and functional diversity - communitarian vs. deficit visions • Didactic strategies of inclusive and multicultural education at the Early Childhood Education level
