Intermediate Organic Chemistry is a subject of Organic Chemistry module, which focuses on the study of nomenclature, structure, properties, reactivity and methods of synthesis of derivatives of carboxylic acids, enols and enolates, difunctional organic compounds, with nitrogenated multiple bonds, and heterocyclic rings and also compounds with biological significance, such as carbohydrates, amino acids, peptides and nucleic acids
