O desenvolvemento da asignatura debe familiarizar os estudantes co método epidemiolóxico para utilizalo a cotio como instrumento de traballo na análise, planificación e realización das súas actividades de cuidados (promoción, prevención, diagnósticas, curativas e de investigación). Especialmente contextualizado no ámbito poblacional co estudo dos grandes problemas de salud que afectan as nosas comunidades.
