Nesta materia inclúese o estudo sobre o estado actual do ensino científico na Educación Primaria, sobre a problemática da aprendizaxe das Ciencias nesa etapa, así como recomendacións metodolóxicas para a acción docente. Ademais desenvólvese unha análise científico-didáctica de tres bloques temáticos concretos, tratados dende a perspectiva sistémica: a) o medio físico; b) o modelo de ser vivo e de ecosistema e c) o ser humano.
