General description In this course the student will: - Know and understand the general principles of intervention in autism spectrum disorders (ASD), with particular reference to the field of communication and language. - Understand and critically analyze the main theoretical models underlying strategies and / or intervention programs commonly applied to TEA - Know the objectives, structure and procedures applied intervention programs in TEA. - Select, adapt and implement some of the procedures and / or most representative programs for the development of language and communication - Design, implement, and evaluate an intervention program tailored to the needs of each particular case. - Know the possibilities of intervention in ASD with computer programs that allow communication and for creating content of interest - Develop practical experience with dynamic communication systems: access to devices or programs, control switches, keyboard, emulators, mouse emulators, collections of sounds and pictograms with special attention to ARASAAC
