La hermenéutica filosófica ocupa, en el pensamiento occidental, una posición central, es decir, en nuestro presente podemos constatar la existencia de una lengua común para la filosofía y la cultura.
El carácter de koiné de la hermenéutica filosófica abre una nueva época para el pensamiento y supone un "marco de referencia" para los discursos especializados o fragmentados.
