General description	O mantemento constitúe a técnica do coñecemento exhaustivo da operatividade de distintos sistemas mecánicos, das máquinas e os seus elementos, co fin establecer as variables de estado que poidan determinar pola súa condición a posibilidade dunha avaría, dun mal funcionamento ou dun falido rendemento do sistema mecánico.
