To pass the course, the minimum grade for the final exam must be 4 out of 10.

Anyone who does not take the official final exam, regardless of the number of activities handed in, will be graded as "failed".

The activities must be handed in through the Campus Virtual. The student undertakes to keep a copy of the materials of each activity, in case of problems in reception. Only activities carried out in class and submitted within the established deadline will be accepted.

The activities and the exam must meet the linguistic correctness requirements for these texts (spelling, punctuation, lexical precision, formal register, coherent and cohesive discourse, etc.). Any writing that does not conform to this standard will be penalised.

Any academic dishonesty (plagiarism, delivery of material not produced by the student, copying, etc.) will give rise to the application of the stipulations of the "Norms of evaluation, revision and claim of the qualifications of university graduate studies" and the "Disciplinary regulations of the student body of the University of A Coruña". The student will be graded with "suspenso" (numerical grade 0) in the corresponding call of the academic year, whether the fault is committed in the first or second opportunity. The activities may be subject to a review by computer applications for plagiarism detection or the use of artificial intelligence. These applications may recognise work submitted by the student in other subjects.

In the second edition of the assessment (second opportunity), all the assessment instruments may be recovered with the same weighting as in the first edition. The laboratory practice activities will be replaced by activities that will be published on the Campus Virtual and that will be handed in on the date established for the official exam. The workshop activities will be replaced by a practical test to be held on the official date of the second opportunity. Only those who have already obtained "no presentado" (no show) in the first edition and, in addition, do not take the official exam at the second opportunity will be graded as "no show".

The same assessment instruments with the same weighting will be used in the advanced assessment ("convocatoria adelantada"). The laboratory practice activities will be replaced by activities that will be published on the Campus Virtual and that will be handed in on the date established for the official exam of the advanced assessment. The workshop activities will be replaced by a test to be taken together with the exam of this call. Students who take part in this exam period must contact the lecturer in charge of the subject sufficiently in advance.

Students with recognised academic exemption: The same evaluation system will be applied, with greater flexibility in the deadlines (except for the official exam). They should contact the subject teacher at the beginning of the course.

Erasmus or exchange students: A level of Spanish equivalent to B1 or higher is recommended.

Students with special needs. The subject may be adapted to students who require the adoption of measures aimed at supporting diversity (physical, visual, auditory, etc.) in accordance with the indications of the Diversity Attention Unit (https://www.udc.es/cufie/ADI/), which should be contacted within the official periods established prior to the start of the term.
