Assessment comments

1. In all written activities (exams, assignments, exercises, comments...), the correct and appropriate use of the language will be valued, especially for academic purposes.

2. No work or task delivered after the deadline will be accepted.

3. Any academic dishonesty (plagiarism, use of texts or ideas from other authors without indicating the source, copying in exercises or papers, or other variables of these characteristics) will be penalized under current regulations at the UDC.

4. Students who do not hand in the supervised project will obtain the grade of NP (not submitted), even though they have completed the other activities. It will be necessary to obtain a minimum of 4 points (out of 10) in each of the evaluation methodologies in order to pass the subject.

5. The students who have to be evaluated in a second opportunity will recover only those failed activities. In this case, the teaching staff will provide the appropriate indications regarding the characteristics of the work or tasks through the Moodle platform, indicating the dates and delivery procedures, so that the students can organize themselves accordingly.

6. The subject may be adapted to those students who require the adoption of measures aimed at supporting diversity (physical, visual, auditory, cognitive, learning or related to mental health). If this is the case, they must contact the services available at the UDC/in the Center: within the official deadlines stipulated prior to each academic semester, with the Unit for Attention to Diversity (https://www.udc.es /es/cufie/ADI/apoioalumnado/); failing that, with the ADI Tutor of the Faculty of Philology (in the following email: pat.filoloxia@udc.gal).

7. The minimum level of linguistic competence recommended to study this subject, in the case of Erasmus students and international agreements, is a B2 in accordance with the European Framework for Language Teaching and Learning.

8. In accordance with the provisions of the different applicable regulations for university teaching, this subject will incorporate the gender perspective in its contents and organization. In this sense, work will be done to identify and correct prejudices and sexist attitudes, in the interest of the values of respect and equality.

Students with academic dispensation from attendance

The evaluation procedures and percentages will be the same as for the remaining students. The teaching staff will make available to these students both the instructions for each task and the delivery procedures through the Moodle platform.

Tutoring hours will be arranged by email and will take place at an appropriate time for both students and teachers.

December Extraordinary Opportunity

Students willing to opt to take the subject exam in the extraordinary call in December will be evaluated by taking an exam that will account for 100% of the grade.
