The oral exam will consists of two parts:
Part 1: job interview (10%)
Part 2: oral presentation about one of the topics covered in the units of the course (10%)

The written test will consist of a revision of the global contents studied during the course at the end of the term. It will be a face-to-face test that represents 60% of the total mark. The contents of the test can include a variety of exercises (translation, short or multiple-choice questions, gap-filling exercises...) and contents that can range from grammar to specialized vocabulary, reading comprehension or writing short texts. |

Assessment comments |
Students are required to contribute actively in the classes, which are designed as a resource to encourage them to acquire and assimilate the contents. First session Students MUST obtain a passing grade (50%) on all sections of the assessment system (final written exam, workshop and the two sections of the oral test). If they obtain a failing grade on any of these sections and even though the sum is greater than 5, the final grade for this session will not be higher than 4.5 out of 10. Students with a waiver on attendance Students with a waiver on attendance will be assessed in accordance with
the section referring to the first session. Students must contact the teaching
staff as soon as they have received official notification of the waiver. Second session -Students will be evaluated as followed: 50% written exam, 20% oral exam and 20% continuous evaluation activities(workshop). -Those students who have passed any of these parts, either the written exam, the oral test or the continuous evaluation activities in the first opportunity, will have the opportunity to maintain them for the second opportunity. This is ONLY valid for the two opportunities corresponding to the current academic year. Early exam session In the case of the early exam session, students must take a written exam(70%) and an oral exam (30%). ABSENT Only those students that have not taken part in any of the activities and tasks that comprise the overall assessment of the subject will receive the consideration of ABSENT. Academic dishonesty/plagiarism
implication Proven fraudulent practice in exams or assessment
activities will automatically imply a failing grade for the corresponding exam
session and subject. The student will be graded with a "fail"
(numerical grade 0) for the corresponding academic year, regardless of whether
the offence is committed in the first or second session. In this sense, the
grade for the first session may be modified, if necessary. Diversity Students may request measures aimed at
supporting diversity (physical, visual, auditory, cognitive, learning or mental
health-related). They should contact, the services available at the UDC, the
Diversity Attention Unit (https://www.udc.es/cufie/ADI/apoioalumnado/) or,
failing that, the tutor with responsibility for diversity at the Faculty of
Tourism, within the time period stipulated for each teaching session. Gender perspective
In accordance with the
various regulations governing university teaching, it is necessary to
incorporate a gender perspective into this subject. This includes, among other
measures, the use of non-sexist language, bibliographies that are inclusive
from a gender perspective, and encouraging participation from all students in
class, regardless of their gender. We will pay particular attention to
identifying and addressing sexist prejudices and attitudes. We will actively
work towards the modification of this environment and the promotion of values
of respect and equality. Our efforts will focus on detecting cases of gender
discrimination and implementing appropriate actions to rectify such cases

test) in the first and second opportunity. Second opportunity: Those students who have passed any of these parts, either the written exam, the oral test or the continuous evaluation activities in the first
opportunity, will have the opportunity to maintain them for the second opportunity. Students will therefore be required to retake those sections of the subject in which they did not obtain a passing grade or that they did not undertake. The same assessment method applies for the second opportunity (minimum passing grade 50%) This is ONLY valid for the two opportunities corresponding to the
current academic year. Students who are unable to comply with the attendance requirements due to exemption from attendance as stipulated in regulations to this effect
published by the University of A Coruña (Art. 3.b e 4.5 Normas de availación, revisión e reclamación das cualificacións dos estudos de grao e mestrado
universitario (Art 3 e 8b)), will be required to complete all continuous assessment tasks (20%), complete the final test (50%) and take an oral exam
(30%). In the case of the early examination session, assessment will consist of a written exam (60%) and an oral test (40%). Students will only be awarded ABSENT if they have not taken part in any of the activities that form part of the assessment system. Academic integrity Students are reminded that the use of all aids or devices in the final exam is strictly forbidden. The use of any unauthorised aids will automatically
result in a failing grade (0). All dishonest practices (including, but not limited to, plagiarism, cheating in exams, etc.) will be penalised pursuant to article
14 of the University of A Coruña's academic regulations ( Normas de avaliación, revisión e reclamación das cualificacións dos estudos de grao e
mestrado universitario ). Attention to Diversity
The subject may be adapted for students that require the adoption of measures aimed at supporting diversity (physical, visual, hearing, cognitive,
learning or related to mental health). In such cases, students should contact the services available at the University of A Coruña / their centre/faculty
within the official periods stipulated to this effect prior to the start of each semester, or alternatively the Tutor for Attention to Diversity at the following
email address: sarah.moss@udc.es. UDC student disciplinary regulations (Article 11,
section 4 b) A failing grade in the
examination attempt in which the dishonest act for the subject in which it was
