General description Nesta materia pretendemos o estudo da persoa, a súa situación xurídica na sociedade. A capacidade, nacionalidade, dereitos da personalidade son materias fundamentais, pero non se trata dun coñecemento detallado e pormenorizado senón da adquisición de nocións básicas implicadas nos temas sinalados que colocarán ao alumno en situación de poder estudar aspectos máis concretos que son obxecto de estudo e avaliación en cursos posteriores.

Guest lecture / keynote speech Exposición oral complementada coa introdución de algunhas preguntas dirixidas aos estudantes, coa finalidade de transmitir coñecementos e facilitar a aprendizaxe.
A clase maxistral é tamén coñecida como “conferencia”, “método expositivo” ou “lección maxistral”. Esta última modalidade adoita reservarse a un tipo especial de lección impartida por un profesor en ocasións especiais, cun contido que supón unha elaboración orixinal e baseada no uso case exclusivo da palabra como vía de transmisión da información á audiencia

Case study Metodoloxía onde o suxeito se enfronta ante a descrición dunha situación específica que suscita un problema que ten que ser comprendido, valorado e resolto por un grupo de persoas, a través dun proceso de discusión. O alumno sitúase ante un problema concreto (caso), que lle describe unha situación real da vida profesional, e debe ser capaz de analizar unha serie de feitos, referentes a un campo particular do coñecemento ou da acción, para chegar a unha decisión razoada a través dun proceso de discusión en pequenos grupos de traballo.
ICT practicals Realización de traballos tutelados en materias relacionadas co contido da asignatura. como pode ser o comentario dun film durante as horas presenciais asignadas á materia, nesta actividade os alumnos poderán consultar en todo momento co profesor e utilizar as TIC
Simulation Elaboración de documentos de carácter xurídico como por exemplo unha solicitude perante o Rexistro Civil (cambio de nome e apelidos, nacionalidade, cambio de sexo), a creación dunha persoa xurídica, demandas, recursos de apelación, etc no eido de materias propias da asignatura.

Tutorials will be held in the professor’s office, on the 3rd floor, “Dereito civil”, Mondays from 13.00 to 14.00 and Thursdays from 10.00 to 11.00.

Assessment comments

It's essential to attend and intervene at classes in order to know the whole content of the subject and the main points, specially because about this issues there's no specific treaty or book. 

It will be necessary to prepare a presentation or dissertation about some aspects of the program and to solve some cases. These activities -attending classes, preparing a dissertation and the cases- will be the 30% of the final mark. 

A final exam –multiple-choice– will be done. It will be the 70% of the final mark. It's necessary to obtain a 3.5 mark in the final exam to add the mark obtained from activities.
