IACOBUS PROGRAMME - BUILDING THE EUROPEAN HERITAGE |
This course hosts the project resulting from the International Convention IACOBUS, held in collaboration with the Schools of Architecture Regensburg (Germany) and Clermont-Ferrand (France).
The agreement is of an annual priodicity and rotating nature. Its object and subject deals with the recovery of the European Architectural Heritage. It is configured by an International Workshop and a final presentation in a project competition format.
The proposed project may overlap or replace any of the exercises outlined within the course content.
Participation in this program is voluntary for students. |

Introductory activities |
Nas primeiras clases do curso formúlase ao alumno unha proba gráfica que permita coñecer o nivel previo co que parte o alumno. A devandita proba realízase na aula. |
Document analysis |
Antes de iniciar o desenvolvemento material dos traballos no TALLER, procederase á análise das fontes documentais relacionadas co tema proposto mediante a utilización de documentos audiovisuais, bibliográficos, reportaxes documentais, paneis gráficos, fotografías, maquetas, artigos, textos informativos, normativa de aplicación, etc. Os grupos (profesor - alumnos) analizan a documentación dispoñible e amplíana, elaborando unha síntese das distintas fontes documentais. Compleméntase esta análise con intervencións de profesionais da arquitectura e doutros campos, que serán invitados a efectuar charlas e coloquios con desenvolvemento de temas concretos e experiencias persoais. |
Collaborative learning |
A clase organízase en pequenos grupos de traballo, onde os alumnos traballan conxuntamente para resolver as tarefas asignadas polo profesor. Organízase ao grupo para obter a máxima información posible e compartila (análise da parcela, busca de exemplos, de normativas, construción da maqueta xeral do emprazamento, toma de datos ou medicións in situ, tratamento infográfico da documentación obtida, etc.). Este traballo está guiado de forma presencial polo profesor asignado. Trátase de optimizar a aprendizaxe individual e o do grupo. |

Tanto o traballo de grupo coma o individual expóñense de xeito público para incitar os membros do grupo a intervir no proceso creativo propio e alleo, de forma libre, informal e espontánea. |
Diagramming |
Os datos obtidos nas análises, así como as intencións do proxecto, exprésanse de forma gráfica simplificada nas primeiras fases de cada traballo. Son as fases de información previa e anteproxecto. |
Workshop |
Os proxectos desenvólvense mediante a combinación de diversas metodoloxías e probas: asistencia a exposicións, conferencias, análise de problemas concretos do programa. O alumno realiza tarefas eminentemente prácticas en cada un dos exercicios do curso, sempre baixo o apoio e supervisión do profesorado. |

Periodicamente realízanse conferencias ou exposicións, relacionadas co tema a tratar en cada exercicio. Onde o relator expón de forma oral e/ou gráfica a información aos alumnos. |
Supervised projects |
Preténdese promover a aprendizaxe autónoma dos estudantes, baixo a tutela do profesor. Refírese á aprendizaxe de "como facer as cousas", é o estudante o que asume a responsabilidade da súa formación. Un claro exemplo do traballo tutelado é o que se desenvolve ao abeiro do PROGRAMA INTERNACIONAL: IACOBUS |

Como resultado do seu traballo ao final do cuadrimestre, o alumno terá elaborado o seu portafolios da materia, accesible a través da plataforma docente Moodle. Description |
O alumno recibe atención personalizada concernente ao traballo que está a desenvolver na materia e no Taller, a través do profesor do grupo ao que fose asignado. No Taller, ademais, terá a posibilidade de comentar e obter revisións críticas por parte dos profesores dos demais grupos e materias, para poder contrastar opinións e criterios e confrontalos cos propios.
O portafolios do alumno será obxecto de revisións personalizadas, para observar a súa evolución e constatar a súa autoría. |

O resultado final dos traballos realizados na materia plasmarase no portafolios persoal do alumno, dispoñible e accesible a través da plataforma docente Moodle.
Avalíanse os resultados, pero a través dun proceso docente tutelado e guiado, onde o esforzo persoal e a evolución intelectual do alumno deberán aparecer reflectidos na documentación final. |

Assessment comments |
In order to pass the course, the student must meet the following requirements:
1- Submit all proposed work, in good time and in an appropriate manner.
2- Attend classes and workshop on a regular basis. (A minimum attendance of 80% is required)
The students in any of the following circumstances will be considered as ABSENT:
1. By not submitting work in good time and in an appropriate manner, or submitting it incomplete. Work not matching the documentation required in the workshop shall be considered as incomplete.
2. Not accomplishing minimun attendance requirements.
3. Not attending the final test exam.
IMPORTANT: To overcome the subject, a minimum mark will be required in each one of the works and tests.
Tests of different opportunities may allow students to complete and modify all or part of their work to overcome part or all the subject.
