Each evaluation has no meaning if no questions and answer to the questions that we want to achieve. Many of the tools that can be used to obtain data for the assessment and therefore it is necessary to have knowledge of the wide range of possibilities. A good professional is the one who knows how to choose, in every circumstance, techniques and instruments that are best suited to the situation. It is therefore necessary to delve deeper into the knowledge and mastery of the different tools that we have at our disposal. So this issue will be the analysis of the main evaluation techniques and tools that can be applied to the evaluation of the educational programs and services and the young, which indicates their basic characteristics, advantages and disadvantages and the circumstances or the most appropriate to put in practice.
