General description The general objective of this subject is for students to acquire basic knowledge about social movements, collective action and social participation. We will analyse their histories, typologies, characteristics and repertoires of action, as well as their relationship with the macro, meso and micro levels of social systems. We will think from the example of concrete struggles, episodes and activisms, reflecting on the interstices of the social structure and the processes of subjectivation.
Contingency plan 1. Modifications to the contents The contents would not be modified, as the materials would be provided by the teacher via Moodle. 2. Methodologies *Teaching methodologies that are maintained In the event of an emergency situation and/or confinement, the existing methodologies would be maintained, being transferred to their telematic form. Readings would continue to be done at home, tests would be handed in via Moodle, and both the lecture session and the guided discussion would be maintained - with the appropriate adjustments - via Teams. *Teaching methodologies that are modified 3. Mechanisms for personalized attention to students Students will always be attended to, regardless of the circumstances. For this attention, tutorials will be set up via e-mail and the Teams platform. Moodle will continue to be used for communications and general information on the subject. 4. Modifications in the evaluation *Evaluation observations: The assessment guidelines will be maintained. 5. Modifications to the bibliography or webgraphy In an exceptional situation, only materials available in digital format and on the web would be used. In reality, these are already used in the face-to-face form, and are mostly provided by the teacher via Moodle or are available in the library.
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
