Assessment comments | |||
This course is organized to help the student to be up to date with the work. The final exam represents 40% of the final grade, the course projects 40%, and the workshop 20 %. A) ASSESSMENT RULES 1. Conditions during the exams: It is forbidden to access the classroom with any device which allows communication with external and/or storage of information. It could be denied to enter to the exam room with these types of devices. Unless, prior notice, the use of calculators in the exam room is also not allowed. 2. Student identification: the student have to accredit their identity in accordance with current regulations. 3. Fraudulent performance of the tests or assessment activities will directly imply a failing grade of '0' in the subject in the corresponding call, what invalidating any qualification obtained. B) TYPES OF QUALIFICATION Qualification of "No presentado" . For students whose participation in Students with recognition of part-time dedication or academic exemption of attendance exemption: they will be evaluated by the same activities as the full-part students. They might be allowed to substitute the group project for an individual project. Personalized tutoring will be mutually agreed between teacher and the student. C) ASSESSMENT OPPORTUNITIES First opportunity: at the first opportunity it will be essential to obtain a minimum grade of 4/10 in the mixed test/exam to add to the continuous evaluation grade. Second opportunity: the students will retake the final exam (40 per cent of the final grade) and they will be allowed to realize exercise on the same date and exam in order to retake the course projects and the workshop (60 per cent of the final grade). Advance opportunity: being a first semester course, the conditions will be the same as for the rest of the courses (60% continuous evaluation + 40% written exam). D) OTHER ASSESSMENT RULES It will be used the virtual platform of the UDC, Virtual Campus (moodle) in order to obtain basic materials and in order to following the subject. Also, if teaching staff considers it, it could be used the department platform, Moebius (http://moebius.udc.es). For it, teachers wil give to each student a username and password, as well as precise information to access this virtual platform. |
