Solid State is an obligatory subject of the first semester of the third year of the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Degree. It is clearly interdisciplinary character dedicated to the study of solid substances, mainly crystalline, and their relevant properties (mechanical, electrical, magnetic, optical, etc.), which are rationalized through the establishment of structure-micro/nanostructure-composition-properties relationships, and which derive the main technological applications of these materials.
