The purpose of this course is to concentrate on and explore feminist thought, and to examine representative feminist theories to later analyze some works by canonized and emerging new female voices in present-day literature in English. We will start by reading brief excerpts from specific essays on women’s silences, and the gaps in literary history concerning women.
