Multiple-choice questions A54 B80 B104 C15 In accordance with international maritime English proficiency requirements, a "Marlins" type test will be carried out. Following the mark grade established in this test, it will be considered passed with the achievement of 80%. The following will be followed to award the score:
10-29%- 1 point
30-39%- 5 points
50-69%- 10 points
70-79%- 15 points
80- 85%- 20 points
86%-89%- 25 points
90-95%- 30 points
96%-100%- 38 points
Continuous assessment: it will be necessary to attend at least 80% of the master classes, the completion of at least 80% of the proposed activities (collaborative learning, ICT practicals) and supervised project
Final evaluation: it will be necessary to deliver 100% of the ICT practicals
It is necessary to obtain 15 points in this test to make an average with the other tests and evaluable activities of the subject.
In any case, to pass the subject, the result of the objective test plus the result of the multiple choice test must not be less than 40 points.

ICT practicals B33 B36 B40 B104 For continuous assessment it is compulsory to carry out 80% of activities proposed in this section.

This section is compulsory but will add points for students with final assessment.

Objective test A54 A56 B40 C21 In accordance with IMO requirements on maritime english proficiency and SMCPs Knowledge.
Continuous assessment: it will be necessary to attend at least 80% of the master classes, the completion of 80% of the proposed activities (ICT practicals and collaborative activities) and the supervised project
Final assessment: it will be necessary to carry out 80% ICT practicals
The minimum mark to pass the test is 15 point.
In any case, to pass the subject, the result of the objective test plus the result of the multiple choice test must not be less than 40 points.

Speaking test A54 C15 It will consist of an individual oral test
Continuous evaluation: it will be necessary to attend at least 80% of the master classes, and the completion of 80% of the proposed activities (ICT practical and collaborative activities) and the supervised project.
Single final evaluation: it will be necessary to carry out 80% of the ICT practicals
Consistirá en una prueba oral individual
This test adds 25 poits for final assessment students. The minimum mark to pass the test is 15 points.

Assessment comments

The assessment critieria reflected on table  A-II/1 of the STCW Code,
and also reflected in the Quality System, are taken into account to
design and perform the assessment.

The fraudulent completion of exams or assessment activities, once confirmed, will result directly in a failing grade in the respective exam session: the student will be graded as "fail" (numerical grade of 0) in the corresponding academic year's exam session, whether the misconduct occurs in the first opportunity or the second. In this regard, their grade will be modified in the first opportunity's record, if necessary.

Students with part-time enrollment and academic grant of attendance exemption, as established by the "NORMA QUE REGULA EL RÉGIMEN DE DEDICACIÓN AL ESTUDIO DE LOS ESTUDANTES DE GRADO Y MASTER EN LA UDC (Arts. 2.3; 3.b; 4.3 and 7.5 ) (05/04/2017) may take the mid-term exams, if any, without having to attend 80% of the face-to-face classes, as long as the professors are duly informed at the beginning of the course. Regardless of the foregoing, the professors may assign these students with different assignments/ problems throughout the course to be presented during tutorials, using the TEAMS system if appropriate in the teacher's opinion.
