General description Artificial Intelligence is a discipline in which a multitude of systems are developed that try to imitate human intelligence to perform tasks but, how to obtain and manage the data with which they train? How to make different systems communicate with each other? How can a multitude of services with different purposes be deployed on the same machine? This subject addresses a series of basic concepts that are essential to understand communication between devices and the proper functioning of software services. It is divided into two large blocks: a first block that focuses on understanding communications between computers and a second block in which the different virtualization and cloud computing technologies are studied. In the first block, students will learn to design, organize and configure computer networks. In the second block, students will learn to set up, configure and deploy an application in a virtualized environment. To take this subject, it is necessary that students have basic knowledge (obtained in subjects such as Introduction to Computers - 614G03012): that they know what an operating system is, how the components of a computer work (processor, RAM, hard drive , etc.), know the basic commands to use a Linux/Windows terminal, know and know how to switch between decimal, binary and hexadecimal systems. The knowledge acquired in this subject will allow students to create and deploy their own services to train, test and evaluate the different Artificial Intelligence techniques that they will see in other subjects. In addition, you will be able to create your own networks that allow the different systems and services used in a work environment to communicate. You will acquire a foundation oriented towards the world of work with tools that are currently in high demand.
