Right to Continuous
Evaluation (CE) in relation to the practices of the subject.

In order to pass the subject by continuous
evaluation, the minimum attendance to the compulsory practices will be 100%.

The compulsory practices of the subject,
together with the passing of the rest of the methodologies, are associated to
the obtaining of the following certificates: Basic Training in Safety and
Survival Boats and Non-Rapid Rescue Boats. In order to obtain these
certificates, it will also be mandatory to complete 100% of these practices.

The compulsory practices consist of 30
attendance hours, 40 hours in total, as can be seen in step 4. Of these 30
attendance hours, 8 hours correspond to the Basic Fire Fighting Course.

The Advanced Fire Fighting Course is presented
as optional for the students and consists of 33 H. The students who wish to
obtain this Certificate must complete the remaining 25 H of the course and that
are out of the planning.

The evaluation criteria contemplated in chapter
A-II/1 of the STCW Code, and included in the Quality Assurance System, will be
taken into account when designing and carrying out the evaluation.

Right to Continuous
Evaluation (CE) of the theoretical part of the subject.

In order to have the right to CE, it will be
necessary a minimum of 80% of the attendance to the face-to-face classes. The
CE of the theoretical part will consist of Mixed Tests, being also possible to
establish Objective Tests.

In case of performing Mixed Tests and Objective
Tests:

Final grade EC = (0.6*Average of Mixed Tests) +
(0.4*Average of Objective Tests).

In order for the Tests (Mixed and Objective) to
average each other, the minimum grade will be 4.5.

In case of performing only Mixed Tests:

Final grade EC = Average of Mixed Tests

In order for the Mixed Exams to average each
other, the minimum grade for each one will be 4.5.

Official 1st and 2nd
opportunity exams.

Students who do not pass the CE (minimum
attendance and grade) or who decide not to follow the CE, will be able to take
the final exams in January and June.

The evaluation of these exams will consist of a
mixed test that may consist of any type of question. The contents of these
mixed tests may cover any content of the subject.

The final grade of the call will be the grade
of this test.

Rounding.

All grades will be based on a maximum score of
10.0. To pass the EC as well as the two opportunities, the final grade must be
a 5.0. Any grade lower than this will be considered a fail. A grade will be
rounded up to the nearest tenth. If the hundredth is 5, it will be rounded up
to the nearest tenth.

Academic Dispensation,
Dedication to study, Permanence and Academic Fraud.

These subjects will be handled in accordance
with the current academic regulations of the UDC.

Students with part-time dedication and academic
dispensation of exemption from attendance (as established in the corresponding
UdC regulations), will be able to join the EC without the need to attend 80% of
the classes. For this, these students will duly inform the professors, at the
beginning of the course, of their academic dispensation situation and of their
hourly attendance availability. The teacher will agree individually with these
students the methodologies to compensate the non-attendance to the attendance
classes and the corresponding evaluation.
