Assessment comments

Attendance at all evaluable activities is mandatory. To pass the course a minimum score of 5,0 (out of a possible 10) is required, with the restriction that a minimum of 4.0 (out of a possible 10) in tests (mixed and practical), workshops and laboratory practice is mandatory. If the total sum value is equal to or greater than 5 (out of 10) but this threshold mark was not met, the final mark will be 4.5 (fail).

Students who failed the practical test should be repeat it in first opportunity. Any student who has attended 50% or more of sessions (workshops / seminars + lab) will be assessed. Regarding the second evaluation opportunity, qualifications of second opportunity will substitute to the obtained in the tests of first opportunity. The qualification of the workshops may be maintained at the second opportunity or, alternatively, as part of the mixed test of second opportunity, the students could perform an evaluable exercise, with activities analogous to those developed in the workshops during the course. The qualifications of the labs obtained at the first opportunity will be retained for the second assessment opportunity. Students who failed the practical test must repeat it at the second opportunity.

The students evaluated in the second opportunity will only be able to apply for "Matrícula de Honor" if the maximum number of these grades has not been covered in its entirety at the first opportunity. The teaching-learning process, including assessment, refers to a full academic year and, therefore, will start a new academic year, including all activities and evaluation procedures that are scheduled for that course.

For
students with recognition of part-time dedication and academic exemption of
assistance or other specific modalities of learning and support for diversity,
the practices are mandatory and their implementation will be facilitated within
the flexibility allowed by the coordination and the material and human
resources. In the event that the student can not perform all the tests of
continuous evaluation, the teacher will take the appropriate measures so as not
to damage his rating.
