General description The objective of this subject is to provide students with the theoretical bases of the conservation and sustainable management, in relation to issues of basic science and other issues related to decision making, using an approach to applied problem solving .
Contingency plan (i) In the event of capacity problems in the spaces designated for face-to-face activities, additional spaces will be reserved in which students can follow the activities through the TEAMS platform. In the case of practical activities, the groups will be split to adapt to the capacity of the laboratory. (ii) 1. Modifications to the contents No changes will be made to the content. 2. Methodologies *Teaching methodologies that are maintained.All the initial methodologies will be maintained, although in some cases the way they are taught will be modified.  *Teaching methodologies that will be modified Lectures: classes will continue to be held at their usual times, but will be given and recorded using the TEAMS tool.  Objective tests.    The tests scheduled at the beginning of the course will be maintained, changing the face-to-face classes for exams through the Moodle platform and in some cases an oral exam may be given through TEAMS Case studies. One of the case studies included a visit to a restored mine, which would be replaced by the reading of a document with information about the ecological restoration process developed in this mine. The evaluation of this activity will be maintained via Moodle. 3.
