General description For the Final Dissertation of the Degree in Biology, each student must individually carry out a project under the supervision of one or two teachers/professionals (at least one of the supervisors must be a teacher of the Degree in Biology). The topic of the project should be related to the contents of the Degree. This Final Dissertation is compulsory and a fundamental part of the scientific development of the student, and she/he should be involved in all the stages of the project.
Contingency plan Contingency plan to be activated if there is a new lockdown due to the SARS-Covid-19 pandemic. 1. Modifications to the contents Although modifications will not always be necessary, supervisors will be able to change the work plan established in the Anexo 1b. This will be especially relevant when an experimental project has to be transformed to an online-only work. 2. Methodologies *Teaching methodologies that are maintained All methodologies are maintained, although changes will be made to ensure that they can be applied in an online environment. The oral presentation of the results of the project will be telematically conducted through TEAMS. *Teaching methodologies that are modified 3. Mechanisms for personalized attention to students Communications between students and supervisors will be carried out, as neededm through the official channels established by the Universidade da Coruña, namely TEAMS and e-mail. 4. Modifications in the evaluation There are no modification as regards the evaluation structure. *Evaluation observations: The oral part of the assessment process (presentation of the results of the project) will be conducted through TEAMS. The session will be recorded by the evaluating panel. 5. Modifications to the bibliography or webgraphy No changes are needed.
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
