Esta materia propón unha aproximación á literatura latina da Antigüidade (s. III a.C.-V d.C.) e á súa influencia na posteridade, con estudio de aspectos ideolóxicos e códigos formales dos xéneros. Os contidos e actividades previstas centraránse en figuras concretas ou en textos específicos representativos dun xénero.
