| 4.-Introduction to the Irish contermporary novel and short story. | A general survey of the Irish novel and short stories in the last fifty years with special mention of some important authors. Students will have to read a novel by one of the authors listed, preferably different novels, not repeated ones, and will have to pass a reading test or quiz, oral or written, or both.
