General description The main objective of this course is to provide basic and relevant knowledge about contemporary political systems, with special emphasis on its current evolution and developing the capacity for comparative analysis. From various models of analysis of the different dimensions (institutions, political processes, political culture, etc.) western democratic regimes will be studied with special attention. Our study also includes the current reality of political regimes of other regions (Latin America, Africa, etc.).
