The objectives proposed, regarding Business Information Systems (BIS), are as follows:
1. To understand the role of BIS, their life cycle, and their components.
2. To understand the legal framework of BIS, with a particular emphasis on data protection, electronic signatures, services of the information society, intellectual property, and payment methods.
3. To familiarize with ICT tools for auditing BIS.
4. To familiarize with ICT tools used to support accounting and auditing processes.
