Once the document has been completed, the
director must authorize its public defense before a committee appointed by the
Academic Committee, made up of master's degree professors. For the presentation of the TFM it is an
indispensable condition to have passed the rest of the subjects of the master's
degree. The qualification obtained in the TFM will be
the result of the assessment of the following criteria: assessment provided by
the tutor-director of the work (10%); assessment of public defense of work
(order, clarity, highlighting of the most relevant ideas and results, answers
to questions posed by the evaluation committee) (30%); assessment of the formal
aspects of the work (structure, clarity, coherence, adequacy to the chosen
regulations) (20%); assessment of the contents of the work (scientific
interest, degree of innovation, theoretical review, methodological design,
statistical treatment, interpretation of actual or potential results, adequacy
of conclusions) (40%).
