Methodologies Description
Guest lecture / keynote speech Oral presentation of contents, complemented by the use different resources (textual, audiovisual...) and the introduction of questions aiming to motivate students reflection and to foster open dialogue. The final objective is to foster students participation within the construction of knowledge.
Introductory activities Activities that will be carried out before starting the teaching-learning process, or at the beginning of the topics, in order to know the competences, interests and / or motivations of students in relation to those objectives to be achieved. It allows students to explore their starting position around the subject under study and incorporate changes.
Document analysis Critical and reflective analysis of relevant documents and sources (bibliographic, audiovisual, journalistic ...), which implies the identification and understanding of key contents, in order to interpret and question real educational practices.
Case study It is a research of a series of cases or educational experiences which consists of analysis and discussion in the light of the theoretical references of the subject.
Supervised projects Group work project that integrates the contents of the subject around the design of a service-learning program, fostering the connection between theoretical reflection and educational practice.
The preparation of the project also involves an oral presentation of the work.
Student portfolio Virtual portfolio of learning activities carried out by the students. It will be carried out in groups (4-5 members) and will include those activities indicated by the teacher, and which may include reflections on relevant aspects of the subject, discussions in forums, concept maps, glossaries, reviews of documentary sources ...
Directed discussion On the basis of previous readings of a mandatory nature, through which to collect different arguments on a subject, favoring the debate and contrast of informed opinions, in order for students to build a critical vision of the different ways of interpreting the socio-educational reality.
Mixed objective/subjective test It aims to determine the achievements of students in objective terms. It consists of closed questions and essay questions. In the essay question, it seeks to directly evaluate the capacity for analysis, expression and organization of ideas related to the contents of the subject. The rigor of the answer is valued, combined with the capacity for reasoning (argumentation, relationship between ideas, comparison ...), creativity and critical spirit.
Aprendizaxe servizo Service-Learning is a methodology that combines service to the community with learning in a single project, in which students are trained working on real needs of their environment in order to improve it.
Seminar Exchange activity with professionals or specialists, in which students will come into contact with innovative experiences, and with dilemmas, problems and opportunities of school real work.
