This subject offers a basic training in Mathematics Education for future teachers of Early Childhood Education.
It is aimed at:
- Knowing the curricular treatment of mathematics in Early Childhood Education and the implications for teaching and learning.
- Providing a basic mathematical training that enables students to carry out their future teaching work.
- Knowing the basic theories about the development of mathematical concepts in early childhood.
- Training to design sequences of activities to develop logical-mathematical thinking in Early Childhood Education.
- Handling materials and resources for the teaching-learning of mathematics in Early Childhood Education
- Training for group work
