General description The subject is oriented towards experimental, active and experiential work, in order to discover and understand the immediate environment, the Galician environment, as a didactic resource and as a versatile source of learning. It is intended that the students know the past and the Galician territory, designing a didactic dynamic based on this double reality. The methodology of work by projects is tested experimentally. Thus, the subject is defined by the dynamics of the course and the centers of interest of the students; so it is a flexible and open program, although with a list of issues to be addressed. The core of the subject is formed by the experimental methodology itself, which encourages active participation, creativity and autonomy. There will be readings and debates in the classroom, as well as workshops and interdisciplinary activities; Complemented activities, as far as possible, with cultural routes in the city.
