Estudo das relacións mantidas desde o século XVI entre os escritores -e, por extensión, os intelectuais e artistas- da Galiza e Portugal.
Perséguese que o alumno alcance a comprender as peculiaridades das relacións entre as dúas culturas no seu desenvolvemento histórico. Para iso, esta materia céntrase nos contactos de todo o teor estabelecidos entre os diferentes elementos que conforman o sistema literario portugués e os seus correlatos galegos.
