Partiendo de un análisis sectorial se pretende estudiar la realidad europea en sus permanencias y cambios, con atención preferente a los aspectos culturales. Asimismo, se persigue reconocer la personalidad demográfica, económica, social, cultural y política de España en el contexto de la Europa de la Edad Moderna.
