General description
This subject provides to the students the knowledge and tools for the study of information from a statistical, quantitative perspective, including those concepts and techniques related to scientometrics, bibliometrics and altmetrics.

Teaching methodologies that will be maintained:
• Guess lecture / Keynote speech.
• ICT practicals.
• Objective test.

• Supervised projects.

3. Mechanisms of personalized attention to students:
Tools: Microsoft Teams and e-mail.
Timing: Microsoft Teams will be used during class hours, in addition to tutoring hours. The electronic mail will be used to solve doubts and for the exchange of files and information in general.
4. Modifications in the evaluation:
The evaluation procedure will be not modified.
5. Modifications of the bibliography or webgraphy:
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
