General description
The main objective of this course is that the student knows the fundamental concepts and the main models of data mining, and its application in the field of information science and documentation.

Teaching methodologies that will be maintained:
• Guess lecture / Keynote speech.
• ICT practicals.
• Objective test.
• Case study.
• Supervised projects.

3. Mechanisms of personalized attention to students:
Tools: Microsoft Teams and e-mail.
Timing: Microsoft Teams will be used during class hours, in addition to tutoring hours. The electronic mail will be used to solve doubts and for the exchange of files and information in general.
4. Modifications in the evaluation:
The evaluation procedure will be not modified.
5. Modifications of the bibliography or webgraphy:
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
