Esta materia pretende cubrir as necesidades dos profesionais da saúde cuxa especialidade se relaciona coas persoas maiores, en canto ao seu contacto coa lingua inglesa, sexa con textos escritos ou con situacións onde necesitan falar e entender inglés. Trata tamén algunhas cuestións teóricas relacionadas co léxico e a sintaxe.
