General description
Los riesgos psicosociales en el ámbito laboral son aquellas formas de malestar emocional ocasionadas o favorecidas por las condiciones en las que se desarrolla la actividad laboral.
Estas condiciones conocidas como factores psicosociales de riesgo, fueron definidos en el año 2000 por la Agencia Europea para la Seguridad y la Salud en el Trabajo como cualquier “aspecto de la concepción, organización y gestión del trabajo, así como de su contexto social y ambiental, que tiene la potencialidad de causar daños físicos, sociales o psicológicos en los trabajadores”.
