En esta materia se pretende que el alumno adquiera los conocimientos teóricos y prácticos necesarios y suficientes, conducentes a la obtención del título académico que pretende, y en el ejercicio de su profesión, a que pueda resolver cuantas cuestiones se le presenten en la ingeniería de la supervisión y control de las máquinas e instalaciones marítimas contempladas en el cuadro A-III/2 del Código STCW.

2. Methodologies
* Teaching methodologies that are maintained
All the teaching methodologies are maintained except for the one of Laboratory Practices that is eliminated in the case that it has not been possible to realize any of the programmed laboratory practices.
* Teaching methodologies that are modified
The methodologies that are maintained and that require face-to-face, are taught in a non-face-to-face way through Teams and Moodle.
3. Mechanisms of personalized attention to students
Moodle, Teams and Email according to the published Tutoring schedule.
4. Modifications in the evaluation.
If during the first semester the subject can normally be taught in person, including the exams, the evaluation criteria of the teaching guide for the 2ª Opportunity and later will be maintained. Otherwise the evaluation criteria will be the following:
• Mixed test. 40%. This test will consist of a multiple choice test (20 points) and a problem solving test (20 points).
• Laboratory practices. 40%. They are formed by a part of resolution of theoretical and practical form by means of simulation of proposed problems and by another one of the face-to-face laboratory practices that have been able to be realized.
• Oral presentation. 20%. It consists of the development of a proposed topic using ICT in a preferential way and that will have to be defended / exposed in the classroom orally using audiovisual means.
* Evaluation comments:
All the observations contained in the teaching guide are maintained.
5. Modifications to the bibliography or webography
The sources of information are not modified.
